This video is a comprehensive overview of the Snyk brand. We wanted to appeal to the developers who are writing code and security folks who are defending against vulnerabilities. But hey, we also have a magical dog who wants to help. So let’s make this fun.

The Snyk homepage dive straight in to the code Snyk helps with. The personality of the company is also featured in the shape of Patch, the guardian dog. The underlying element through most of Snyk’s visual identity is also the “wave” symbolizing the perpetual flow of code.

The development of Patch was a fun and thorough process. Beyond just the style of this character, we also started creating a library of poses and action Patch could act out while helping keep your code clean and secure.
We partnered with Oddfellows for the development of Patch the mascot dog.
Great example of the color palette at work. While purple is the primary, we do have a set of colors that work along side it. The logo, “wave” element and typography maintain familiarity and consistency.
